    This book never would have happened without the support of my wife, Jodie, who encouraged me to keep writing even when I wondered if I was wasting my time. The team at New Growth Press and the staff at Serge, especially Bob Osborne, also kept this project moving when I got bogged down. I owe them all much thanks for their faith in me and their kind help. I would be terribly remiss if I did not also acknowledge the men who through the years have served as my pastors—especially Clyde Godwin, Rick Downs, Hunter Dockery, Jeff Dobesh, and my dad, Gary Klumpenhower. Their gospel preaching has fed my soul week after week and trained my mind to focus on our Savior. Their faithfulness in showing me Jesus has seeped into every page of this book in ways I could never count.
